“Are you and Tommy still together?”

Soooo, whenever I haven’t chatted with someone in a while they often say, “Are you still with Tommy? I wasn’t sure”.

Yes, I absolutely am! We have built a wonderful family life, raising our wonderful daughter, and left the city and bought a house north by the lake. We love it.

But it turns out, that because I don’t post much about Tommy on social media and I focus on my own journey and the journey of others, that they assumed he’s no longer in the picture.

AND THAT IS ANOTHER ‘WHY’ TO POWER LOVE WOMAN Teaching and Speaking.

I love and appreciate Tommy, absolutely.

He is a large part of my life for sure, but let me be clear- he is not my life.

My life is dynamic and I hold no illusions about being completed by another. We help each other be whole and complete inside ourselves. And we are each responsible for our own happiness.

Because the truth is, you can’t give what you don’t have… not sustainably.

I’ve melted into relationships in the past, and I lost myself and resented them for it every time.

I absolutely LOVE helping women reach their relationship goals, but make no mistake:

I have zero interest in contributing to the mass messaging that a woman is happier in a relationship.

Our happiness and fulfillment is our own. PERIOD.

AND, relationships are important for sure! They are so much of our lives and I advocate for making them important and wonderful.

AND, we get to dare to dream and fulfill whatever damn dream we want! So don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t want a relationship.

Rest assured, that 80% of it is an inward journey, because if it’s not, you will repeat the patterns of your past over and over.

So that’s why Tommy is a PART of my social media, not the highlight.

We are PART of each other’s lives… not each other’s lives.
